Wholly Cow!

so its been awhile, and time has flown by....
much has happened with no really good way to start...

Back in late October we found out we were having a baby (a lot of joy & a LOT of panic set in, due to losses in the past), and by November I was put on bed rest (high blood pressure). For a while all seemed okay. Weekly doctors appointments, bi weekly specialists, and by week 20 I was starting to breathe again, I took things for granted and in March I lost my little boy before we had a chance to get to know him...

Time marched on; soon after a search for a new beginning began in the form of house hunting.
There were endless weeks of crack of dawn Saturday morning (9am, ugh!) showings, but just last month we found a perfect little house, in a quiet community about 10miles from where we are now. Julian's elementary & high school will be within walking distance (he starts preschool this fall, so I'm a little ahead of myself) and we'll have a place perfect for gathering family & friends. Over these months my focus has been distracted from my business, I've continued to create but I've been extremely slow in updating and posting new products & promotions. Currently I've got a birthday party (4! came SO fast), swim classes, and a new house to work into my already jumbled mind. More updates to come.......

A Pretty Pink Parcel

I have of always hoped each of the products that we offer would be considered unique, a tiny treasure to be cherished in the eyes of their new owner. Special occasion hair jewels, each tiny face a reflection of the heartfelt joy that it brings me in creating these timeless keepsakes.
It is my pleasure to now offer a "Certificate of Authenticity" with each of my Sweet Bon Bon hairbows. Each certificate lists the items name, the date created, artist signature, and a wax stamped Eclectique Soul "E". Nestled in hot pink paper, and wrapped with a chocolate brown bow these petal pink packages are sure to be a pleasant surprise!

Two Weeks in Fabulously Fun Florida! The Sunshine State!
Oops! Late July-August not so Sunny, more like the Rainy State. Hurricane Season.
Granted it rained everyday like clock work but we were blessed to have memories to last a lifetime and some not too shabby photos to boot. Lots of great inspiration from the trip, so look for new pieces in the next few weeks and an all New Updated Etsy shop for the fall season!

Shauna: Inspired by the Classics

I can remember the Eighties like it was yesterday.
Banana clips, Neon clothing, Blue eyeshadow, and really big hair! Let us never forget the Oh SOO Fashionable Legwarmer, headband, over-sized-ripped shoulder-sweatshirt trend that took over the country!
Here are a few of MY Favorite Eighties Memories:
Cartoons: "the Care bears", "Danger Mouse" "Scooby-Doo" and a favorite"the Smurfs".
Daytime Shows: "Little House ", "Fraggle Rock", "Facts of Life"and "Silver Spoons".
Evening Shows: "the Muppet Show", " Wild Kingdom", "the Cosby Show" and "Buck Rogers"
How about Movies: "the Dark Crystal", "Purple Rain", "the Goonies" and ahh..."Gremlins"!
On the Radio: Run DMC, New Edition, Michael Jackson vs. Prince .....and the lists can go on forever and ever!

Whatever your fondest memory, the Eighties were a time that none of us will EVER forget :)
